This thursday, we will serve a STRONGLY spiced movie, a movie with after taste... a movie that shows how easy things can get out of control...
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0180093/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Requiem_for_a_dream
... and for the apperitif, we will serve something special, a dish from Berlin, prepared from one of our movie-event fans, mixing the special ingredients of tolerance, disagreement, opinion, reality...
Antonio presents his work with his own words:
-- S/he ßerlin --
Ipek, a well known DJ of the Berlin night scene, Demet, who is politically active for 27 years and Gurkan, who had moved from Turkey to Germany, are sharing their opinions and experiences about homosexuality, Turkey, identity and Berlin.

I would like to emphasize on the content of Requiem for a Dream.
It's a great movie but the images can be hard to watch because the topic of drugs is treated with realism (or at least it seems so to me... I'm not a drug expert).
Requiem is a great movie, which I recommend for everyone. At the same time, it is a horrible movie, nobody will feel good after watching it.
Good idea to have a blog - what about a forum on google groups? I created http://groups.google.com/group/cool-bsi/ - just in case there'd be need...
A very nice documentary!
Bravo Antonio!!!
...and a very depressive "dream" :( Next time I will vote with all my hands and legs against such pictures!!!
Tomek
come on people! you shouldn't close your eyes to reality! .. and open yourself to nightmarres, they are the way to discover your deepest fears... a usefull tool, I would say!
